Nancy Henry

Nancy has always been interested in Art since she was a child. Her father was an artist and musician. She painted her first “real painting” at age 15. She put aside art for sometime to pursue work and traveling abroad. She also enjoyed singing Christian music and writing poetry , which later became lyrics to songs she collaborated with other artists. She went on to paint with watercolors later in her life and continues to this day. She is also singing Christian music at various Christian outreaches and at her church. She hopes to go to Africa in the near future to sing at outreaches there to help people find Jesus.

I like working with Cellblock Creations because I believe in what Lynn is doing to help people that have fallen get back on their feet. I know I have fallen and God has shown me so much mercy time after time. These men she is helping are extremely talented. I personally purchased a beautiful painting from Cellblock Creations a few years back, which hangs on my living room wall today and continues to get compliments. I believe in the work Lynn is doing through Jesus Christ our Lord. I’m honored to be a part of it.

Jackie B.

Born and raised in California, then moving to the Island of Maui has developed a love for the sea, sand and nature overall, which is reflected in my art. Most recently I have moved to Eastern Florida were I met Lynn Brown, Founder of Cellblock Creation Ministry. She has earned my trust and respect for her acknowledgement of the need for re-entry programs for those who have made mistakes and are willing to turn their lives around for the better.

Art is the glue that inspired me to help support Lynn in her efforts to develop a main stream marketing strategy that will bring royalties, and give a sense of purpose to those transitioning into productive members of society.

Ladarious Carlisle

I’m Ladarious Carlisle. I’m confined to wheels and have been blessed in my special condition. After living past age twelve and multiple afflictions, scoliosis initially diagnosed with MD, a muscle weakening genetic disease. I think re-entry is very important because inspiration is needed for someone with a hunger for a vital new start. It is mindset for me. It’s definitely wanting to master art, specifically drawing and painting. We need to change from within and to appreciate life regardless of past downfalls or the prolonged nightmare of holding on to guilt, however dark your past. This is something I still struggle with even though I have never been incarcerated.
